I love all of my Sire basses. V7, P7, V9 and M7. I would put the V7 and P7 as my favs for tone but I have the blueish V9 and it looks amazing. Best looking bass of the bunch.

Great playing as usual Coop! Nice Marcus Miller Sire. I really didn't hear much variation in tone until around 10:35 in active mode, then things got really interesting!

Yes,...I do agree. I think that I'm going to have to break out a "GK!" MB115 combo to do new video's. The cube bass isn't all that significant. I'll do the Sire V9 again. 😊

Thanks for video but I'm sorry; I'm hearing only strings' sounds rather than guitar's sound and can not be heard differences. This kind reviews must be done with direct line connection. Thanks anyway.

Thank you, Coop ! This is a killer bass . Universal and fashionable. One man says it's boutique bass. I am seeking for my next guitar and think that it will be V9. I must say that this guitar sound is close to some Chinese guitars you shown last time , right? And sometimes I think that common level of bases in the world is so high that no reason to buy expensive. I am happy that you made this video for me. God bless you Coop! p.s. My name is Gennady. Short is Gena. ;)

"GOD!' THEE ALMIGHTY FIRST!" You are so welcome. Yes it is. I didn't know this. It was hanging on my wall for a good while. Very attractive bass indeed. Hey, they are $1,300 dollars now. Try and look for a used one if possible. If you can afford the cast new, by all means get it. I am shocked that this thing has tone like this! Wow! Yes, this bass sound so familiar to some of my basses. It's the jazz bass thing. Lol! Exactly! "Cost Effective" instruments can be just as good as the "HIGH END" instruments. It actually the player not the instrument with technology now today. Glad I could do this for you "GENA" "GOD!" BLESS YOU AS WELL!!!!!!" Please keep watching. Thank you, Coop' Bass "4" Life : )

You gotta teach us how your thumb moves that fast man. And I suggest you get a audio interface so you can plug in the bass directly so we can hear it like in the music videos. I wish you taught lessons 😅

Coop, there are allot of talking about P basses. This is bestseller in the world but sound is different from J bass. For me is not easy to love this sound. And fretboard there is wider then on jazz bass. I owned P bass many years ago and can't say I loved it. What do you think? Don't you want to start develop this theme?
@11coopbasscooper55
@11coopbasscooper55 5 жыл бұрын
"GOD!" THEE ALMIGHTY FIRST!" Ok ,... Gena. The P bass. I have a lot of basses. If you start to play for people and start to do studio work. A lot of time, the artist really want to hear a smooth yet tight mix in their music. From what I have experienced in my years of performing and studio work. The PRECISION bass,... is by far "THE BEST" bass for sound. Now I really, really don't like the Precision bass. I'm being honest here. But, in the studio, you can't go wrong. I learned that the hard way. But I got it now. (lol!). So, if you decide to start buying basses, just make sure you have a,...(LET ME SPECIFY). A FOUR STRING "P!" or PRECISION BASS" in you arson of basses. You won't go wrong as well. Just a simple "PASSIVE" precision will be fine. Hope this gives you a little more insight about the bass that you and I don't actually like. I'm with you on that. Can't stand the bass. But, we need it. Lol!

@@11coopbasscooper55 The only P bass I genuinely like is the fender Pino Palladino signature model, however I think I'd sooner shoot myself in the leg than pay that much for a P bass. I will probably settle for a MIM P bass sometime in the future when I get tired of buying Jazz basses LOL. Btw You got really mad slap skillz. Really gives me perspective how much more work I need to do on my slap. Say was the V9 freash out of the box when you filmed this video?
@11coopbasscooper55
@11coopbasscooper55 5 жыл бұрын
"GOD!" THEE ALMIGHTY FIRST!" Well, I must say,... The P-bass is not my favorite either. Now I have to go deeper than what I just wrote. I don't even like signature P-basses. (Lol!) I don't even like the "SHAPES" of them. That's for real. Chris Wood is the "ONLY" cat that like to hear play the P-bass. Now recording with a P-bass is a "BEAUTIFUL" sound though. You have to have at "LEAST" (1) P-baswls in your "ARSEN" of basses. Once again,...I'm a jazz bass-a-holic! (Lol!).

@@NeoBalkanacMan "GOD!" THEE ALMIGHTY FIRST!" PINO,...underrated bassist if you ask me. His "FRETTLESS" skills are "CRAAAAZY!" Signature P-basses are not my thing. I have some due to recording issues. That's it! (Lol!). Than you for your comment. I highly appreciate it. No, the V9 wasn't fresh out the box exactly. Its was taken out box, hug on the wall and never been set up before I did this video. 🤗

@@11coopbasscooper55 Yeah, I could tell from the fret buzz, a shame really, because Sire basses really are beautiful instruments, I've got a V7 myself , and I love it! Though I'm thinking of getting an additional Jazz bass because a lot of the songs I'm currently playing require me to jump across the neck a lot, so I've concluded that it would be a lot easier If I had a 5 string so I can just go up and down , instead doing all this ridiculous acrobatics across the neck just to play all the tones I need. And, yes , Pino Is legit a madman, I'm not usually a sucker for signature bass Guitar But I'm forced to give credit where credit is due, both him and Marcus Miller really do know a thing or two about sound and tone. Pino's P bass sounds really good, and MM got his whole deal with Sire as well as his own Fender jazz model. Those Sire's are so good I've seen tons of people leaving their fenders at home and giging with the Sire instead. LOL Though Still A big fan of the Fender Jazz, the way they sit in your hands is simply perfection imo
