My wife and I's subscriptions expire next week. She is going back to ESO with a girlfriend who has never played before. I am thinking of doing another stint in LotRO or perhaps Witcher 3 (for the first time). Also tempting are Fallout London and Enderal. PoE2 is lurking around as well.

I find the game in general is becoming a lull. Personally i’m finishing farming the remastered anniversary stuff then i’m taking a break til next expansion likely. 619 il and the delver achievements done is enough for me.

@ where does it say I’ll be back next patch? I’m not interested in the siren Isle. Not that interested in goblins either. As I mentioned next expansion, not next patch . I know it’s not meant to be taken 100% of the time , which is why I said 619 item level and all the delve achievements are enough for me.

@ if you look at my other comments as well, you’ll see that it is a general trend of mine to play only the beginning and ends of expansions. I know my limits when it comes to games and I typically only enjoy the beginning and end because it’s typically when the best gameplay designs and player hype are forged and perfected. I loved the beginning of the war within, but that habit of mine isn’t going to change, and my general distaste for the roadmap, simply highlights that. Not a problem with the game at all just me ‘ relaxing’ as you’d likely put it.

@ justify it? What am I trying to justify? I am simply explaining my perspective, to resonate with the premise of this video. People who enjoy a game and aren’t done playing with it usually spend time playing it . Why don’t you go do that instead of trying to tell me when I’m going to play a game that I’m not going to play? I’m concerned for your well-being if you think I am the one trying to justify, when you were the one trying to justify an addiction to a video game that I don’t have to the level that you do, clearly.

I recently played a bit of ‘Drakan’ on the PS2, and felt like I was having an incredible adventure. I haven’t felt that way in wow since beating the campaign/Zek’vir ?? The loot pinyata bores the ever living shit out of me and i’m not going to play the game if it feels like a ‘come back tomorrow for 3 il ‘ vibes. Wow really bores me in every expansion midway through. I only like the beginning and ends of expansions and i’ve accepted that as the kind of player I am. I know Blizzard isn’t here to cater to me so I just unsub and play other games for a while. They didn’t even get me with the fomo mount. I’m not farming for 60 hours to afford it or paying 150CAD for that even though I love the ah. Blizzard shows their hand and I either appreciate it or walk away.
