Are Cedar Point & Vekoma are about to blow us away with Siren's Curse? Cedar Point just released the POV for their new for 2025 Vekoma Tilt Coaster and it looks BORING!
JK! This coaster looks insane!
And here are my thoughts about this coaster!

I stated this when they first announced this ride, and I'll say it again - the B&M dive machine brakes are terrifying for FRONT seat riders. THIS is going to be MOST fear-inducing for riders closer to the BACK of the train. And then the ride course itself looks solid and FUN. I thank Cedar Point for giving us the Maverick heartline roll back.

I saw the POV of Sirens Curse at Cedar Point and I know that Cedar Point really sped up the lift hill camera because usually lift hill motors don't go over 10 mph except for cable lifts cables can pull a roller coaster trains up to the top around 15 mph or faster. I never seen a lift hill go that fast before.

Weird that they sped it up because when they do, some of the turns pull like 7gs. Gunna have a bunch on unconscious people arriving to the station haha.

if it goes anywhere near that fast, it's going to be a nice complement to Valravn. I was wondering why they would put the 2 vertical drop coasters next to each other but Siren's looks fast and whippy and Valravn is more graceful and swooping. I feel like I would need at least 3 rides. one front, one back and one center train just to experience all the different sensations on that tilt. I think the from row will be spooky and trippy

Being a former ride operator for 3 coasters 1 family and 2 thrill I inform guests start in the middle then work either to front or back do to each section is a different experience. Especially if it is your first time rider.

Super excited to try one of these. That tilt is something that still looks absolutely terrifying for even the most jaded enthusiasts. I already think my anxiety will be as high as a first ever ride on TTD and that tilt facing straight down on Falcon’s Fury. It may be smaller, but so are Corkscrew and even Wildcat when it was around. I have friends that won’t ride a super tall coaster but love the smaller ones, regardless of wait or the age of the ride. I won’t turn down the chance for more variety and just skip if the waits are too long on a particular visit. If this rides like the newer Vekomas, we’re in for a treat. I never would have believed it until riding a few, but we’ll get good airtime, super comfortable trains and tons of fun. This will definitely feel like it’s closer to Maverick than Valraven.

The second loop of the Double Loop at Geauga Lake was below ground level and that was 1977 so it is about time CP added that element in a coaster.

Hey there Brandon, your latest TPB video is cool! Even though Siren's Curse was a weird placement, I think that this coaster will join in the ranks of Cedar Point's Top 5 coasters. The Vekoma Tilt Coaster looks like an awesome coaster model. Now, if this ride does well and doesn't offer the same fate as Top Thrill 2, we could see the model come to other USA parks (i.e. Six Flags Magic Mountain, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Tampa, etc.)

This coaster is a razor hair under 3k feet, so it's not that tiny. This coaster looks amazing. The only negative I see with this coaster will be the capacity. Have a feeling this coaster will sport a 90 min wait at all times. Hoping I am wrong.

It'll have atrocious capacity like honestly MOST major coasters do. It's really time for something revolutionary in the industry to increase capacity. I don't know how, but likely just more trains on the track and block zones is the way forward. Cost a fortune though.

2025 could be BIG for CP … the park opens up in March or April right? So imagine if TT2 is READY and running steady… couple months later later its June… BOOM … right before 4th of July weekend SC opens … It’s like having a year where the park opens to big coasters the same time…. And we ain’t talking no “family coasters” lol

This POV of Siren’s Curse shows breakneck speed! I hope POV is not sped up. It’s super whippy and it’s obviously an airtime machine! If the speed is legit as depicted in this POV, this will help with capacity as operations should be able to flip and dispatch trains quickly. Hopefully, the restraints will be comfortable. 🙏🏽 Already I can see Siren 🚨 as one of my top five coasters at Cedar Point.

The first element is basically a dive loop, yet they don't count that as an inversion. And yes, I do think they sped up this POV.

1 Maverick and 2 steel venegeance. I didn't see a second launch on siren and that with the speed to turn ratio is what makes Maverick top for me. This could be third. Park to park velocicoaster is a top one with its 3 launches. It's all about launches. So if TT2 comes back online that could be 3 for it's 3 launches. I'm going to visit Falcons Flight as soon as possible for the sheer scale.

The video appears to be sped up about 25% for some reason - at least the simulation of the ride speed anyway. Play the POV at 0.75 Speed and it works well. Still good pacing so its wild they're lying to the GP by speeding it up.

If this rides anything like Lech Coaster, it's going to suck crowds from Maverick. Very unfortunate that it'd going to be blocked by Valravn - the tilt section probably won't be that visible from the front of the park.

It is kinda over-exaggerated but i don't think it was sped up, it just had an FOV filter that made it appear faster. It'll still be good, im guessing top 10 Cedar Point

You complain about capacity on the new coaster in Canada but I think this will be the worst of them with only 2 trains. But who knows, I just feel the tilt mechanism can't be that fast on top of the lift hill compared to a launch coaster.

It HAS to be sped up. No way it's not. You're not taking those transitions at those speeds. 7:05 I mean look at the speed in that pull out. NO WAY. You can kind of look at the video and tell it was sped up. 2 trains ain't going to "help" with capacity outside of being compared to a single train haha. It should have 3 or 4 for a park like this.

Animated POVs are largely made with the manufacturer doing most of the work. I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic but Abyssus looked super fast and then was much more modest in pacing. I hate to say Vekoma can't be trusted but this POV seems a bit too fast. I'd LOVE if this is accurate but I'll remain cautious.

I heard from someone in management at cedar point(dippin dot management) that Top thrill 2 won't be ready for most of the season and they know people are gonna be pissed, flocking and hoarding around the ride all year. so they plopped this right next to it to put the attention and focus towards this 🤷‍♂️

I have my doubts about it being down that long, and I was a criticizer of Top Thrill 2. While it may not open May 4th, I have my doubts it wouldn't be open by, say, Independence Day or maybe a couple weeks after that. Unless they are literally replacing track and manufactured a new launch system, I don't see how it should take longer than that since it was a train modification. An extensive train modification, grant you, but still.
