I know videos don't convey the true loudness of sirens very well, but I just can't shake the feeling of "oh this can't be that loud, it's sounds so lethargic". Then again, I've never heard a 3 port siren before.

It was louder than what we all thought it would be for sure

The Lehigh Valley Railroad Ordered quite a bunch of these sirens for use as flood sirens and they had to be imported from Germany and Austria to the USA. This one came from the Coxton Yard in Duryea, PA and was set up on top of the roundhouse to alert the yard and railroaders when a flood was imminent. This is a very rare siren to survive from the Lehigh Valley Railroad and should be preserved for generations to come.
