The Solex is only 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) tall, providing an overall low profile. The center section, measuring 3.9 inches (99 mm) tall, is designed specifically to maintain the single-level low-profile look demanded by modern emergency vehicles.

By far my favorite light bar but they are extremely expensive! I am getting a fully rebuilt and refurbished full amber Code 3 bar for my Honda Ridgeline. Should be operational within the month!

The only time I think that design is useful is if you want the speaker in the middle for a simple all in one package. Otherwise the look isn't appealing and other lightbar have the same functionality. Great video guys, keep em coming.

Just my input. Here in Australia speakers in light bars have been banned for years because of causing hearing loss!!

Chris and Stuart are a great duo. I don't think the tumor in middle of the lightbar is appealing, nor does it offer THAT much functionality.

I'm not a fan of the Solex, I don't know what Code3 was going for there. Is the lightbar using the same modules as the Defender? They look similar.

Code3's Solex Lightbar uses different Modules from what the Defender Lightbar uses. The Modules used in the Solex bar are the Siris style modules. The Defender uses the Tricore Modules.

Grant Matos Agreed buddy, that "hump" in the middle kills it for me. I understand the functionality of the hump but since we in the US don't really use the speaker as they said, I don't see a point for it. So in that case here in the USA we are more likely to see modules on both levels, lets say red/blue on the bottom and takedowns on the top. That config is something that could be achieved with a single row of modules as well and have certain module(s) be dual color, red/takedown and blue/takedown. I think if that hump wasn't there and those modules ran across the entire front this would be a very attractive bar as far as aesthetics go.

+loveever89 Light-bars are commonly installed on non-Police Package Vehicles. Now, if you're refereeing to colors- This was just done for Filming at the Office. There's no Red's or Blue's for non-Department Rig's in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Why code3 ? are you going back to a fat ugly lightbar like the old styles, I can't see the point of this, everyone is making slim arodynamic lightbar, the slimline bars were so much better, this in a duel full stack on a large vehicle would be fine not cars, I like code3 lightbar but this has to be the most ugliest on the market, I like the idea of duel & quad colors in a bar but this just looks stupid in my opinion !
