I take this song to heart very deeply.... My Mom died from an illness and I was the only one with her the day she died it was a blizzard and how I felt that day fits this song down to a tee...... Beautiful cover! This hit me really hard when I heard it.

Loved this song the first time I heard it, and every time since. Never really listened to the lyrics too closely till now. Fighting back tears.. Poor Len is always alone and sad in the snow, usually with someone dead, often himself. No peace for him, despite this beautiful cover. Thanks for sharing your talent.

this song seems like there may be a story other than the obvious one of a partner dying, As i listened It kept making me think of someone who has a loved one go through some kind of unspeakble tragedy and falls into depression severe enough that they are almost vegitative. it makes sense if you consider the emphasis on being unable to speak and voice not reaching. I have been there, and have seen others in a similar state. granted i'm probably wrong in my interpretation of the song but it was something i though worth considering.
