I have to say it’s hard to follow the heart fully or to assume the amount of stitches yo do the actual heart I feel that’s the most important part. I fell in love with this hat! It's absolutely beautiful. I decided to finally make one, and I struggled with it a little. I wanted to make a smaller one for a baby. Trying to downsize the heart was a challenge. I'm not gonna lie, I pulled the hat apart at least 6 times before being able to make the heart look small enough for the hat. I finally finished it, and I couldn't be happier. I think it came out pretty nice. Thanks so much for this video - and all your videos. I love how you explain every stitch you make. I've learned so much from you. 💗🦋🐞

I’m on my 3rd beanie. I’m having fun playing with color combinations and using up some scrap yarn/leftover yarn for the hearts and Pom poms! I’ve done a purple hat with a white heart in bulky yarn... And I did 2 worsted weight Merino wool beanies, One is dark purple birthday hot pink heart and purple Pom... the other is light pink with hot pink heart and I’m debating on whether to do a Pom with the light pink, or hot pink...decisions decisions 😂😂😂

I love the beanie. But I prefer a written pattern since I always take my crocheting with me when traveling or sitting in doctor's waiting rooms with my parents for their appointments. I don't take my computer with me, but a written pattern I can print out and take with me is helpful. When home I prefer to sit in my recliner and crochet, not sitting at my desk.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful tutorial Sirin. I was wondering if this would turn out just as nice with simple double crochet stitches instead of front post. I found the hat to be extremely bulky on the inside due to the front post ribbing that occurs. 🤔

The brand is Tulip. It's Japanese. They're excellent hooks. Very ergonomic. I own them and despite having trouble with a tendon in my right thumb crocheting with these hooks is soooo nice.
