I'm a cypher main and whenever I hear his voicelines, I always thought of Cypher as somewhat talkative for a guy who hold so many secrets and is known for being so mysterius... like, the voicelines alone already reveals so much about him. It's like he's bad on keeping his own secret. But then I had another thought; what if they're all just bait? A fake persona that cypher built to hide his true identity and family. Heck, behind that mask he may not even be Moroccan. Everything that we know about him know might just be a lie and it all makes sense! It's like Superman's scenario: it's dumb that people cant tell the difference between Superman and Clark Kent just from a hair change and a glass. But ... that's the thing, people weren't looking for who he is. In people's mind, they know Superman doesn't hide anything because he has a face/ an identity to fool the people and make them think they know you while in reality, you have the real identity hidden safely beyond webs of lies ooorr I might be the dumb one and u just wasted about 3 minutes reading this. Actually, my theory is that Cypher knows exactly what happened at Fracture, and knows about what Chamber and his mirror double did. However, Chamber is pretty wealthy and probably struck up a deal with Cypher to keep Fracture a secret. We can see it in the voiceline where Chamber tells Cypher to keep his secrets, and that they should be best remained as friends.

i feel like it would be more efficient for chamber to kill cypher but that doesnt insures him that the info of fracture would not get out. think about it if cypher dies coz of chaber then nora would be onto him and leak all of chambers dark secrets SO now we know that chambers one of the priorities is to kill cypher and secure all of his data but that would be really hard coz cypher is so secretive

cypher is great, he has the drip, a great voice and personality, plus he’s secretive so that gives it a relatability factor for me. he has such a cheery manner for such a dark person. (there’s a voiceline where he says something like “what should i use, pictures of their children? ahh, way too dark.”)

Nora is still alive. She is his remaining family that he fights go protect. Also the line "Nora I will see you again" is only said if a round ends and cypher has a low HP. (The other line he says when he has low HP is "I hate seeing underground doctors)

This probably was already brought up by someone elsewhere on the internet, but I have a theory Sage's limits is she can revive people only before a certain period of time after their death; that is, if it's been too long, there could be constraints. That's why she's able to revive fallen allies on the field; and perhaps that is why she was unable to fully revive omen.. Maybe Sabine looked for Sage a bit too long, or maybe it had only been a day, since his death, and that's why Sage was only able to bring PART of him back to life.. I don't really consider this original; it just popped in my head one day while playing Sage... Just a thought! Do tell if there's anything that can prove this wrong, I'm still new to Valorant lore

I personally think that the reason sage wasn't able to fully res omen is because some clues hint to viper/Dr. Sabine killed him over and over and over and over, and every time she killed omen, sage would revive him.. again Maybe omen slowly lost his body to death every time sage revived him. Then, they could only recover so little from omens former body and mind that he lost most of his body and his memories.

While Sova doesn't really hate Cypher, he hates the FACT that Cypher knows almost everything about others and yet, doesn't reveal anything and sometimes use it as blackmail. Sova is really open-minded and I think he would be a bit terrible in hiding them when you compare the art of hiding secrets with Cypher. And I am saying this as a Cypher main who used to be a Sova main 😂🤣

I like to think cypher sees in killjoy reminds to either one of his family members. Giving nicknames to the other agents makes me think hes a lovable guy to his family and children. Its adorable yet heartbreaking. Probably one of his children are interest what cypher does, but cypher denied to not doing it but in a sweet in kind way to killjoy. It was sweet but a painful memory to cypher 😔

I love that Cypher alternates from “Must protecc smol engineer” to “I will hunt down your families next :)”. It almost makes him more mysterious in a way. You can never truly be sure if his kindness is genuine.

I'm wondering if there's an angle that Chamber may actually be buying Cyphers silence, the voicelines between the two of them make it feel possible to me. since Cypher has the ear of Brim and Sage and is certainly not doing anything hes doing out of the goodness of his heart, he would probably be a decent investment for chamber if he wants to effectively play the two earths against one another to sell weapons.

My Theory about cypher’s family’s death has to do with irony. I mean I feel like his family died because of him knowing too little or too much about what was gonna happen or going on. Because of that, it is his responsibility to be the one man surveillance for the valorant Protocol, so his friends that he considers family won’t suffer the same fate. Edit: With more evidence I think that if he has a daughter or any other family member just withholding information like a rebellious teen, the info they withhold may be dangerous or threatening and that’s why cypher has to know everything about the team. Either that or he knew too much about a gang or group, which they then attack his family.
