That would be nice. I actually really liked her character. Getting your arms ripped and cut off, then becoming a paraplegic has got to be a real-life check for her. Plus, it's not like she could have gone far. Theoretically, she should still be where we left her in the dirt. So she 100% has a chance to come back in some form

They are androids created by Mother Sphere to replace humanity. Which caused a war between humans and androids, and the "real" humans won by evolving into Natybas. This games lore is very similar to NieR but not as deep xD

They are Andro-Eidos, the game calls them androids but they are really cyborgs. Cybernetically enhanced/augmented humans. Also not ALL humans became Naytiba, and Naytiba do reproduce. Humans were brought to the brink of extinction but not entirely, it’s how some NPC’s have children. Mother Sphere felt that humans were inferior and she could make better version so she grew flesh from scratch with no human DNA and combined it with hyper advanced cybernetics hence the Airborne Squadron. To her, those are the “real” humans.
