I finally finished watching this 8.5 hour marathon of this game’s cutscenes, and let me say this: The entire story was incredibly inspiring and emotional after a long time. It truly is a massive story of friendship, no matter who you love or hate the most. The true bonds of friendship comes from everyone you’ve met along the way. You develop a connection with all your friends and enemies, good or bad. No matter how lonely you feel, no matter the hardships you end up facing, just know that deep down, there is always a connection between you and everyone else.

The only issue I have with the game is I wish instead of when they create more and more Mario game they keep throwing in brand new characters I wish they would just build upon their characters they already have within the mushroom Kingdom in the Mario universe and quit doing stories about them traveling to other kingdoms in universe when they're still so much when there's still so much they could explore with a deeper story within the mushroom and boudreaux's Kingdoms at least make one set of Mario games that continue the story moving forward even if you're going to keep making games like this that's the only issue I had. So I really didn't care about the store not cuz it was bad but because when every single new Mario game is a completely new story with new characters every single time you just over times just don't care. Anyway that's just my Rambo that's how I am I like to have games and movies that are continuing sequels building upon the past instead of a totally new story that feels disconnected to every other game that comes out.

Unfortunately, devs are no longer allowed to make new characters or designs that tap into the existing Mario world. So no unique toads or koopas or whatnot. With this, they basically have 2 options: go completely vanilla or introduce isolated ideas/characters that have nothing to do with the established Mario universe.
