It is wonderful to see such progress being made to restore so lovingly such a majestic building. I admire and greatly respect those who have been so dedicated to this important reconstruction despite great opposition. Many thanks for this update it is much appreciated. I look forward with great anticipation to this beautiful building's completion, a fitting restoration to the treasure, which is Potsdam.

What happened to Potsdam on April 14, 1945 by the Royal Air Force and to Zerbst on April 16 by the Americans is beyond understanding. 1,000% unnecessary. At that point in the war what possible purpose did it serve to destroy yet even more priceless architecture from over the centuries that somehow was still left that had NOTHING TO DO WITH NAZISM. Was not what had already been destroyed in March 1945 enough? That March list is very long. And then, these 2 places in April. Next, having both Potsdam and Zerbst fall under Communism for 45 years resulted in even more loss. Potsdam is far better known, but if you do not know what Zerbst had before 4/16/45 read, learn and be appalled about yet another needless incineration of history for no reason. None. This video is beautiful. Thank you for every video you post. It causes anyone who has any appreciation for anything of beauty and history to take note.

Schade, dass die Kirche in absehbarer Zeit nicht vollendet werden wird. Man hat einfach zu viel Zeit verstreichen lassen. In der heutigen politischen Konstellation wäre auch der Aufbau der Dresdner Frauenkirche nicht mehr möglich.
