I'm pretty sure Ellie will found Dina at Jackson, and will be happy with her. I almost didn't need a part 3, i'm confident about that. There is enough clues that we can guess Dina did go to Jackson while Ellie was gone. I think Ellie wasn't very surprised to see the house empty because Dina warned her, she could'nt waiting for her with the expectation of her never came back. After letting Abby go on the beach, Ellie learn a wisdom life lesson from her journey. She have the mental logic now to be stronger than ever. I think her future is very bright and positive.

@buffy455 In the farm moment, Ellie was mentally broken, she could'nt sleep or eat. She was trying to be happy but she couldn't. She was mentally in pain. By keeping Joel's watch, guitar and jacket, this was not the right thing to do when you want to let go on your past. This will be really sad to end the story here ! The moments after the farm for Ellie is very important, the fact shes didn't killed Abby on the beach is very very important to elevate the meaning of the game. Characters fates is one thing but the game is deeper than that, the game give us a wisdom lesson in 25hours of entertainement. This game is talking about Hatred, the game is showing us the disastrous consequences of that, the game is giving us 2 point of views (Abby and Ellie). The game was giving us the tools to learn and understand by ourselves the situations. In the theater when Abby left Dina and Ellie alive, on the beach when Ellie left Abby alive . This 2 moments shows, this 2 characters finally successed to get out of the vicious circle of revenge, and this is not an easy thing to do. The game is showing us, how and why, this is necessary to give up on hatred. Ellie was wrong to seek for revenge, you can't live an happy life with this mentality . Look at Joel's brother, he's a grown man and he still seeking for revenge, he begun to be a negative person, his wife left him, nothing good is awaiting someone who took this path. Giving up on revenge, make you a stronger/better person. Even if we don't see it in a cutscene, i've no doubt Ellie still love Dina, we can expect the best. They are alive, and Ellie has definitely grown from her journey. Ellie is ready to let go on the past and move on forward.
