Honestly if you consider Joels death was always gonna happen its probably the happiest ending Joel could of had with Ellie. If he just went one more day holding that back ellie probably would have found out from Abby or whatever which would of probably would have felt like such a betrayal from Joel for Ellie.

The saddest moment for me is Joel killing the doctor and taking Ellie is his arms , running away from the militaries in last of us 1. It's the saddest moment in the franchise because knowing the fate of these 2 characters I know what will happen and the dramatic music only heightens the tragedy of Joel's fate and Ellie's fate . It's beautiful , it's meaningful and it's dreadfully unavoidably sad 😢

The fact that the second game starts with Joel singing and playing guitar to Ellie just shows how much hes changes since he got his humanity back. It’s such a shame that him earning humanity back with Ellie also causes a rift between them causing Ellie to regret how she treats Joel.

Put it in this perspective, the fireflies knock you out and you wake up being guarded and without ellie. They did not tell you that she was going to die, ellie did not know too (she didnt even make the decision because they didnt tell her). They didnt even let you say goodbye. Think about it, fireflies are taking your 2nd daughter and your new meaning of life away. What else would you do?
@LovePrettyMoney Жыл бұрын
tbh if you listen Ellie had tons of questions to ask the fireflies before hand..they prepped her for surgery right after they brought her back to life when they found joel an her..Ellie was never conscious...They actually were gonna make the decision for her as well...She wouldve never got any chance to actually make that life or death decision on her own. Hence why she was forced into the fireflies care in the first place.
@bruhmoment1761 Жыл бұрын
U know what’s the fucked up part. Ellie would have consented for eh procedure. He was supposed to be in my class but now all that’s left is his empty space. Last time I saw him we were looking at each other… looking like we’re friends again… now he’s gone forever… I’ve stopped sleeping… stopped eating… I just feel numb. Please forgive me Sam… I miss you so much every single day…

@@lolael7278 I can’t… I spent some time with his parents… they are literally destroyed. Their life stopped there, they are so silent and so sad. They stopped their calendar on 4th October… they’re just numb as me.

Meh. I want the world to experience that story but I know the game will always be better. Simply because telling a story on the stick is so much more powerful.

Damn.. ellie smelling Joel's jacket brought back a dark memory for me. I remember smelling one of my dad's clean socks when I was a preteen.. the smell was just like his fresh clean laundry, and all I wanted was to curl up somewhere with his sock and cry, but i had to mind my baby brother and put my feelings aside for the first time in my life. The funny part is that my dad was never gone, he is still alive to this day. But I've been replaced. It didn't happen overnight, it took about a decade and then some before he would nolonger answer my phone on father's day, let alone call me on my birthdays. It sucks that we only get to have one father, while fathers can have many kids to replace. That's the reality for some of us. It makes me sad everytime Ellie confronts Joel, I could only wish that I had a lasting father figure like Joel, I would probably be the perfect child, never confronting him.

When tommy and Joel had that Moment on that hill and Tommy goes “their is place for you here” made me shed a tear I mean their are brothers who have probably lost a lot and obviously through their younger days when through a lot and saying that shows their love as family always stays the same despite the world they live in where people change 🤷🏻♂️😔🥺
