I’ve noticed you activate king tower for the archer even though dagger duchess should kill it without a hit. Is that to prevent further pushes?

Did you mean fire cracker? The strategy can be to kill it before the tower so the tower has enough daggers for any further push or to prevent your opponent to drop troops into their push but the proper placement against fire cracker is always good for when activating king tower

The king tower activation stays through out the game, so spending one or two elixir for a permanent defense is definitely worth it
