@@bunsenburner3601 Just my opinion, surg did not hard counter. inferno has a lot of hp, valk kills ewiz and surg has nth for the mega minion so even if surg has zap it doesnt matter, as long as Morten defends in triple elixir he will outcycle surg's poison and Morten has the last-second defensive advantage spell which is snowball so battle ram will never reach the tower. Im not great at the game but reasonably surg has at most 60-40 matchup and its not that hard of a counter most think

That's what made him stand out from all of the other pros from his time. He had an immaculate sense of the game, even though mechanically he might not be as good as some of the newer generation of players, he knew what it took to win games and made huge clutch plays after clutch plays in tournament finals. I still remember that clutch prediction tornado onto the E Wiz to prevent his Xbow from retargetting against Nemsensei. What a player, we'll never see another Surg ever again
