If that BMB catalog that someone posted at tfw2005 is still accurate, BMB / Aoyi will do Soundwave, Starscream, Megatron (there are already pre-orders at AliE), Sixgun, and Shockwave. They already made their Prime (unfortunately, he is sold without gun) and someone posted stock pic of Red Alert at tfw2005.

Galaxy convoy with a waist proportion fix, painted black wing fins on the head, fitting a flight mode, and a cyber key with a oversize would've been the greatest alternative to the OG and commander of stars

They're very solid (the entire front of Sideswipe's car/chest piece is metal), just goes to show how badly that Hasbro are letting us down in terms of quality: The new Apeface figure has a weird nylon-type plastic & Jetfire doesn't hold together very well either (considering the retail price). Certainly recommend getting them but the weapon ports for Hound & Sideswipe are pretty big, here's hoping they release some bootleg triggerbots for them too

MP12 Shoulder rocket fits Sideswipe with a little trim to the tab. It's also possible to cut the OS KO Sideswipe tab off and modifying it to fit inside the hinge of the rocket launcher in case you want keep the comparability between each toy

I was really hoping that they did something for the roof canopy where it folds along the back since Prime already looks like he has a backpack in the cartoon. Also, it would be nice if the smoke stakes were a little taller.

@BensKOllectables I'm always scared when I see someone pulling out front wheels on that Prime just like that :D. I''ve seen quite a few pictures of this KO with stress marks on parts which connect front wheels to the torso and one or two where these parts snapped (I suppose BPF didn't bother to make these parts out of something sturdy). It's interesting how you didn't fold these grey parts into these panels which are supposed to tab into thighs, this might be the cure for these panels not tabbing at all :). The part on the back flips just like on Siege figure, so accessories can be stored on the back of the truck in vehicle mode :).

I'm using this Hound in my MP display. It's not perfect, the head could be much better, but I'd rather have this than pay 15x for the MP. Would probably do the same for Sideswipe if I didn't already have the MP.

It's highly unfair to compare these to other lines. These aren't improvements. They aren't renditions, or upgrades. They are merely a carbon copy that had the size scaled up a few % and opted out of the "weathering". What you should be looking at here are for mold issues, joint looseness, fitment prlblems, etc.

Actually there are improvements. On Sideswipe they added two tabs on thighs which help vehicle mode to hold together better, the abs part is barely visible in vehicle mode and they painted taillights (unfortunately, they replaced ball joint on neck with mushroom peg). Hound has just one major improvement - ankle tilt isn't two-step like it is on Hasbro's. Instead, there's smooth range of articulation. Sadly, they got rid of lights on mudguards and they simplified details on backpack. Prime is different story (Hound and Sideswipe are made by Aoyi, formerly known as Black Mamba, while BFF made this Prime). Actually only improvement is crotch part made out of die cast - I've seen one reviewer posted a video in which he shows how his Siege Prime (Hasbro) snapped in half at that transformation hinge. Other than that - he retains 5mm pegs/weapon ports, silver panels do not tab securely into thighs in vehicle mode, these shin fillers have oddly shaped tab (trapez instead of rectangle) and these parts which connect front wheels to the torso are very fragile (my Prime had stress marks on these out of the box).
