That's not a grasshopper, it's a carnivorous relative of a cricket called a red eyed katydid and it's from Texas. African bush crickets are way more a menace like its cousins cuz they're omnivores.

Now I will tell u how the the beetles made the water they caught the water molecules in the air then as they caught more and more water molecules they eventually got enough they were able to make water.
