I much prefer the neutral flare over blue. Like you said, blue flares can be good for sci-fi films. But, for general narrative work, I think neutral is better.

The pincushion distortion is the biggest thing I don't like, but I suppose that's fairly easy to correct in post. You should check out the Blazar Remus series, their new 33mm looks amazing, has a more vintage anamorphic look and costs less too.

Thanks for this! How does the Lumix IBIS handle the 1.5x squeeze? I presume you set the stabiliser on 1.6 as well?

It does a decent job it looks pretty much the same as the final product and you can work with it no problems at all. I think the only issue I had was some of the focus peaking was a tad harder to read compared to normal, but it could have just been user error. :)

I want this! The FOV should also work well for range-focus stills on the TL2 crop without the EVF. I think that the L-mount version is closer to 420g. Do you have an affiliate code for the Sirui AU store, too?

Very cool, but I can't get past that pincushion distortion. I wonder how well it could be corrected in post?

You can get around it by using the e-stabilisation in camera
