I absolutely love your vids… you show ALOT of sample photos (and various photos as well)… something a lot of other creators don’t do. Please continue doing a lot of sample photos in your review videos, so us, the viewers, get a fair idea of how the lens performs.

Do you happen to have the viltrox 27mm f1.2 e mount still? There is an issue with that lens that affects all copies.

I do still have it. Is it the electronic front curtain shutter thing?

@@ArthurR Its where the aperture doesnt change from f4 to 4.5 when you switch back and forth between the two, also happens at f5 to f5.6 and at a few other intervals as well. this is an issue because i took two photos both at at the same settings including apeture but the brightness of the photos werent the same which means something isnt right well on one of the photos even though the camera (a6700) said f4 the blades were at f4.5. the blades arent stuck either i think this is a firmware issue that they somehow missed throughout all the firmware updates. Surely this isnt meant to happen

A great video again, thank you Arthur and a happy new year from Munich, Germany. What do you think of using a capable 85mm lense (Sigma?) on APS-C for shooting wildlife at dusk or dawn?

The closest and easiest pronunciation in English is something like “sir” “ray” (pronounced as two separate syllables). Meike is like “maker”.

somehow this lens looks like it was built by viltrox. The aperture ring, the sirui logo, the text on the front of the lens. Very reminiscent of viltrox.

This vs the meike 85 1.4

100% this lens, I won’t waste your time with a video. This lens is better built, better optically, and massively better in autofocus performance.
@carloacetre677Күн бұрын
On Meike’s latest firmware AF speed is the same pretty much. We have both lenses on the ZF/Z8. I prefer the contrasty and punchy colors of the Meike. Weight is the only thing where it clearly loses now.

@ and the meike is about $100 less

@@ArthurR Just bought the Sirui 85mm and made a comparison with my meike 85mm, I ended up returning the Sirui one,which has cost 100 dollars more and performed bit worse.

@@ArthurR I did a search yesterday to find the exact pronunciation but even Google gave me more than one. Even in the Chinese language, there seamed to be variations. Who should we trust. LOL. I guess if you emailed the company directly, that should settle it. It's like Nikon, is it "knee-con" or "n'eye-con". In Canada and most other countries in the World, we say Zed, not Zee like in the US. Don't tell them they have it wrong. LOL. They'll look at you as if you're from outer space. LOL

@@jean-philippeperetti8463 in the English world (not north America) we pronounce it Nick-on. Like Nick is riding on the bus. 🙂
