Great review, Interesting as I did not expect your voice to be like that I really like your accent end enjoy watching your vids, I have the x-t5 and the x-h2 but when I saw your x-pro1 vid I HAD to get 1.. Nice Review! Im torn between the viltrox 23mm 1.4 and the sirui sniper. Both have their strength & weakpoints. Which Lens would you prefer for videography?

Thanks for your comment! I have both the lenses, but I haven't used either one extendely for video to know for sure. Based on that I think I have to say Sirui. Mostly since I think they have a bether track record for film orientated lenses. Perhaps I should consider to have some film samples in my reviews in the furure I think it would work well with my street style.

I hope this lens would have been a little sharp in the center, just a little!! But it is a generally excellent lens, just by existing! But now I guess and wait to see if 7Artisans and Mitakon Zhongiy will make the same move and release their F/1 cine lenses in Autofocus version. This way I will have more options to choose from, later. It's sad that the Viltrox 27mm f1.2 wasn't a 23mm f1.2, because I like the 35mm field of view better than the 40mm. I hope to see very soon from Viltrox, a new aps-c line, but this time a "Super Pro" one with an aperture of F/1.0 about $700 to $850 (16mm f/1.0, 23mm f/1.0, 33mm f/1.0, 56mm f/1.0)

you need to add sharpness in post. but compared to the viltrox 27bits a huge difrence. 27mm was hard for me in the beginning. But now I'm totalty sold. on 27 it's something you have to get used to

Thanks for the review. Would be great if future reviews could be uploaded in 1440p or 4K because 1920x1080p isn't enough to see the sharpness, as it just shows a maximum of 2mp, which is roughly a 20th of your 40mp XT5 sample files

@@Kim_Alexander It's because KZbin NERFED 1080p bitrate silently not long ago and the only way to get the same quality from 1080p recordings that we used to get is to upload those videos at 4k. For example, on my 1080p monitor, when I watch videos set to quality as 4K, I get a WAY better image quality on a 1080p monitor. It's because the 4K setting increases the bitrate and perceived stream resolution goes way up. Such a stupid move from KZbin to try and sell their 1080p premium and youtube music bundle and in the end it's just gonna cost them more because users will be uploading files in 4k when it was unnecessary before.

Thanks for your review. I've got the Vitrox 23/1.4, the 7Artisans 25/2.0, the Viltrox 27/1.2 and decided not to buy one more lens in this focal length regime.
