Can you compare these lenses to the Viltrox 1.4 set? Are the Viltrox lense sharper, how about the CA? The Tokina ones are supposedly the same, but they're more expensive because you get the in camera corrections. At least for photography it's probably worth it. One thing I noticed with the Viltrox set is they're still pretty sharp at f1.4, but the 23mm hase a lot of vignetting wide open, so you have to stop it to at least f2 to get an acceptable result. The AF with the Viltrox lense is OK, but nothing exceptional. The 13mm would be an exception, but that's a more expensive lens and it doesn't diretly compare to the Sniper trio.

compared to the viltrox 1.4 the biggest difference is the focus adjustment in camera. I would say generally the viltrox are more photo-oriented it seems while these feel more video-oriented. I say that based on the fact that the autofocus is adjustable and excellent, but a photographer may feel like they have too much "character" which videographers tend to be comfortable with (vignette, flares, edge softness, aberration, etc). all in all the big reason i didn't talk about comparing them in this video is truly because I think they're different lenses for different markets.

It seems like it's focusing in 2 steps. It's almost like it pauses a little in the middle. At least sometimes.

It’s probably just a funky compression artifact with the bokeh because I exported this very compressed since I actually never intended it to be public haha
