Hey I hope you don't mind me asking you a question here that has nothing to do with this video. But I really like your reviews and it looks like you don't have any recent ones on sliders. I recently bought the edelkrone slider one version two with two of the head ones and I think I might return it especially since they're coming out with a version 3. I'm just curious if you found anything better for DSLR cameras like the Sony FX30. Your spot on about the app being clunky and that's probably my biggest concern along with how noisy it is.

hey ! good question ! My favorite one is the zeapon Micro amd they have a new one the zeapon micro 3 that seems even better but I couldn't get them to send me one for testing so i will continue using my zeapon micro 2 for now

but yes I would return the edelkron i just don't like how they market their products (doing macro shots then telling you that it is not meant to do macro) and their return policy isn't great either

@@DuncanDimanche-sreview I got it through BH photo and I just got off the phone with them and they're cool with me returning it :-) thanks so much for a prompt response!

@@DuncanDimanche-sreview do you know if there's a better slider out there?

Do you find the legs to be stiff? Do they slide out easily when unlocked, or slide in when closing it up? Do you have issues with the latches being hard to use, as many have said? And i heard the legs are tough to spread out. Can the bolts be loosened to make it easier? And can the bolt on the bottom rubber feet be tightened? And how stable are the legs? If a camera is about 15lbs, would you suggest this or the Sachlter flowtech legs instead for its stability?

@@michaelfrymus Hi there and as for the legs yes they are stiff... pretty stiff and there are bolts on the side I believe that will help reduce that stiffness the latches were hard to release especially vs the Sachlter ! 1000% I actually made a video on it you should go and check it out. and similarly i was able I believe to loosen them up a bit but still stiff I don't think that the rubber feet can be tightened as for the stability it is very stable even without the center thingy that I did not get I would think that it can take a 15lb camera but I didn't buy their heads so i just used my head but i believe that the legs themselves can take a lot more than 15 pounds

Did you buy the tripod and head separately? If so, maybe that is the reason the case does not fit both? Wondering if my combo will have a case that holds both.
@DuncanDimanche-sreview9 ай бұрын
i believe that if you buy it with the head then they would ship it with the correct size bag.... but it is just so stupid NOT to have a bag that can take a head... who carries a tripod with no head ?!!

I really like that Sirui. Why didn't you show how low it can go? It's perfect for low shots. Other 2 can't go that low especially when you use sliders on the tripod.
@DuncanDimanche-sreview Жыл бұрын
yes very true ! I forgot ! that was a quick one and I will do an other one with a better setup

Thx for the info, from the video it seems like it's possible to spread out the legs even though the latches are locked down, is this correct?
@DuncanDimanche-sreview Жыл бұрын
you mean for the manfrotto or the Sirui SVT75 ?
@AndersBakfeldt Жыл бұрын
@@DuncanDimanche-sreview thx, sorry the Sirui.. if so, I’d be a bit concerned that I would accidentally kick one of the legs outwards..
