I would say that I had hair depression but it was definitely adding stress and dragging me down. I used to be able to find joy in doing my hair but the 2 or often more hours to detangle, wash, detangle, condition, detangle and style was starting to really take a toll. I just locked my hair and I free set free and in love! 20 mins to wash my hair is everything!

Great video, There was a time I wouldn't leave the house if my hair wasnt 'done'. In school I felt I had to straighten my hair and wear weaves as I got older. I was sick of conforming to Eurocentric standards. I've had my locs 4 years in May best thing I ever did, I documented it on my channel started with a twa was a journey but had to be done!!

I’m wanting to do my starter locs but don’t know if I should do it myself or go to an loctition… but don’t trust a lot of ppl in my hair because when I had locs the first time and did it myself I wanted to have an party for my son and decided ima get someone to do my retwist she twisted them all the wrong way😢
