I always use earphones so my husband can let me hear word. The audio is fine. When I was in Nigeria I tried to get a house help as well. I had PLANSSS for this 20 year old girl but one day she woke up, packed her bags and left. She came back to my house 3 months later saying someone had deceived her into getting another job that was going to pay her N2000 more than I was paying but the agent was collecting N5000 from her money. She said she wanted to come back to work for me but abeg I couldn't deal. That was it with house helps for me until I left Nigeria. My house was not as clean and my life not as organised but I just told myself, if it is disturbing any visitor, they can pick broom and help me sweep 🙂

I too had the same encounter .my hubby and I employed a Nanny from Philippines, paid her air ticket and she came to stay with us in Dubai but little did I know she was a witch.she almost snatched my handsome husband from me.when I corrected her for a particular mistake my hubby shouted at me .I felt I was dreaming but it's reality,I started having nightmares,my hubby started giving her attention.the girl started behaving like a madam in my own house and when I talked to my hubby about it He will tell me to leave the lady alone.that time I realized it's no longer a joke,I began to fast ,pray and do night vigils. I told God if am the woman my husband wedded in the church and not this lady let her pack her bags and baggages and leave my house tomorrow.the next morning,she wants to do laundry,she picked my hubby's and the kids' cloths and left mine behind.I asked her why she left mine she started yelling and talking back at me.just after the incident,my hubby returned home and she ran to him and told him I was shouting at her.then I narrated everything to my husband but he didn't say a word.The lady realized my hubby didn't shout at me she became angry and told me"Madam I will leave your house" I asked her did u just say you want to leave? she said yes,i told her "Oya start going", in my heart I was like " Jesus you love me too much oo" immediately she left my house my husband came to me telling me he never knew this lady is a devil.he took our little baby of five months i was nursing that time and place her on his back and began to clean the house. He started buying gifts for me ,begging me to forget everything that happened. Pls,pls & pls pray very well before you bring in a maid or Nanny in your home.some of them are devil incarnates looking for a peaceful home to destroy.I thank God for the victory.

Why do house helps always come diabolic. We used to have one that talk to 'spirits' at the gate of our home. My mum noticed her talking to herself as it seemed and asked her why she did that any time she stands by the gate. She said some people were calling her to meet them outside the gate. She told them to come inside the compound and they told her the compound was too hot for them. So Sisiyemmie have no fear as long as you're a child of God, your home will be too hot for any evil spirit in Jesus name.

I had a similar experience, i.e., nanny came and stayed less than 72 hours (I kid you not). Even though we had been praying seriously before she got there, I was like - na so God dey quick to work for His children like this? We paid her transport fare back to the East, waited to make sure the coach bus had left the park before we left. I even gave her "offering allowance" way beyond what she should have had for the time she'd spent with us. I guess because of this, she kept calling us long after she left. She was looking for a house helper and she found this 33 year old woman who would be her helper. After meeting and starting the process of hiring her, on her second day, they were heading to get medical tests done and she wanted to get to know her better so she started asking questions about her and where she's from. She asks the helper a question about swimming and she reveals that she can't be by the water and that she a water girl. Which she means that she's a mermaid. Sisi, of course is shocked but keeps her composure and asks her questions to see if she's telling the truth and out of curiosity. The helper was initiated into the water world by her family member since she was young. She goes to say that under there is so beautiful like gold. They swim as their transportation and the mermaids are really, really beautiful. She says she doesn't want to be by the water because she does not want to be apart of that world anymore. They do bad things there and she doesn't want to do those things anymore. She also reveals that she's married to a spirit husband who comes to see her and is very jealous. Although she's given her life to Christ, she still has relations with him. After she goes home, Sisi prays for her not to come back. She didn't come Monday because she didn't feel like it, lol. Tuesday she comes, Sisi is shocked but eventually she tells her that she's going away and doesn't need help at this time but will recommend her to others. Sisi pays her a nice amount of money to not cause any problems. Soon after, the help finds a new job and all is well.

I don't know who made that comment about why do you want a house help people in the US and the UK do it by themselves. I live in the US and I wish I could afford house help. Right now unfortunately my husband cannot be here to help and I am raising two children by myself and it is hard. my children are suffering lack. l work a full time job at night. Which gives me very little time to spend with my children. Doing normal house chores and attending to the children is a constant uphill battle. And unfortunately that is the case with most of the households in the US; even with both parents in the household most of the time they're working full-time jobs (sometimes two jobs) just to make ends meet; which puts a strain on the whole family. parents and children. It took me about an hour to write this message because I had to stop so many times to attend to housework and my children. So if you can afford house help and you can find someone that you can trust( hopefullyGod-fearing ) go for it. God bless

Thank you for your kind words! I know the Lord is working things out. I just had to make that comment because people don't seem to really understand that it's not easy working and raising children. you're a blogger it takes time and focus to write your blogs, prepare your recipes, go to events, video for KZbin, edit your videos and still run a home. With a toddler running around I really don't know how you manage. My Hats off to you! You inspire me! God bless!

thank God for saving you and ur family. had a similar experience last week and I was terrified. after intense prayer, the girl came and told me she wanted to go.... after 3 days. always pray before u let anyone into ur house pls esp cos of ur child. May God continue to protect u and ur family in Jesus Name.
