I loved hearing Ebert laugh offscreen at 8:59 as Siskel was tearing into _Exit To Eden_ so you knew he’d be in complete agreement before he even opened his mouth lol

Great to see both of them on the right side of history in regard to Hoop Dreams. An incredible doc that is one of the best in film history.

The makers of Exit to Eden had the nerve to use Bryan Ferrys “Slave to Love” on the soundtrack which reminds one of 9 and 1/2 Weeks a film E to E should have copied

I enjoy Wes Craven's New nightmare since original Elm Street, it's intriguing the way they balance between dreams & reality, the stars & filmmakers from series play themselves were great & I enjoy Freddy as well, he's more terrified frightening & dangerous than before. It's clever mad slash thriller 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟

As an old soul person for 1994, I ain't gonna lie I might watch The Specialist seems like a chill spine cool movie.

I actually like the movie. And it's got one of John Barry's very best scores. I listen to tracks from it often, in particular "Did You Call Me?". Beautiful.

The Specialist features horrible performances by Stallone, Roberts, Stone, and Steiger, but James Woods alone is worth the viewing.

Little Giants is a great movie. It's a kid's movie. It's not some deep meditation on life, it's just a movie. And it's entertaining.

Hahaha I’m gonna defend Little Giants a bit. It’s nostalgia mostly but this wasn’t a bad kids movie. Actually still has a couple laugh out loud moments to this day! Unnecessary, maybe. But their review on this show made it sound like it was only a few steps up from North, a movie that was almost a crime for watching it.

S&E really didn’t understand what made Little Giants so great. I mean seriously how can anyone not love the “Pitch to Johnny” scene when he runs a TD to his Father. S&E didn’t even bother to mention it and made it look like a played out snooze fest. Maybe it came out at the wrong time..

Criticizing "The Specialist" because some other mad bomber movies came right before it is stupid. Does that mean if it had come out right before them it would have been better??? And not everyone sees every movie like Siskel and Ebert do.
@jasonmarcel48233 жыл бұрын
Lol, it wasn't because True Lies "came before it"; it's that BY COMPARISON within the same genre, True Lies, another movie in the same genre from a couple months earlier, was far superior. For people who like that kind of movie, they're saying True Lies is way better.
@citygirl57053 жыл бұрын
@@jasonmarcel4823 Yeah, but Siskel specifically said the explosions seem tired because it's the 3rd mad bomber movie they've seen in the last few months.
