Twister actually does a good job of creating original, different characters with interesting backstories. It’s not a dumb movie at all.

Twister is an all time guilty pleasure. It’s so cheesy, but it’s soooooo fun!

Twister is not that bad. Dead Man is a great and truly misunderstood film. Any fan of Jim Jarmusch or Westerns should watch it. This is one of the few times I agree with Gene.

Twister is a disaster movie. They're complaining about seeing too many tornadoes. That's why We're watching it!

Not denying the action schlock that is the movie twister, but complaining that there are too many tornadoes in a movie about tornadoes is like complaining about seeing too much lava in a volcano movie lol.

I saw this review 1996 and wish I hadn't. For some reason, they had me focused on the divorce story so much, it kind of diverted my focus. Most people didn't even notice it and focused on the amazing action. I loved these guys but sometimes, they really did get it a little wrong.

I thought "Dead Man" was a superb film. I remember seeing it on the IFC Channel way back when I was little and the parents were asleep upstairs.

Ebert's written review was brutal, so I was surprised to see him meet Siskel here halfway with total equanimity.

Despite all his great work Tim Roth is somehow underrated. Guy is amazing.

Their review of Twister is perfect. The fiancé/wife story was so lazy, and I’ve never had any desire to see the movie again.

😂 they both didn't know how to just enjoy a fun movie. Doesn't always need a big storyline.

i have never really liked ANYTHING Johnny Depp has done after his launch into fame on 21 Jump Street, and i did not like Dead Man. but i did watch many years ago ONLY because i really like Gary Farmer. but yeah i could barely even stay focused on the film i was so bored by it. and Jim Jarmusch has done some other things i have liked.

They needed to develop a taste for camp. Twister is awesome. Yeah it’s silly but that’s I think part of the charm of Twister. I thought the cast was likeable.

Let's be honest...Twister is the ONLY noteworthy movie featured in this episode, at least in my opinion, that people remember even all these years later. Even though Gene and Roger disliked it, others love it and for good reason.

I remember seeing "BOYS" on Starz years ago - It is a boring movie.

Many of the movies they trashed on their show ended up becoming staples of American cinema, while some that they praised are now utterly forgotten. Just goes to show that you don't always want to listen to a critic.
