Ebert called it on that Oscar nomination for Pat Morita.

Karate Kid, easily one of the most important films for kids of the 80s, easily.

This show brings back so many great memories for me😊. Thank you for uploading these. I was a kid starting to fall in love with movies (early 80s), and this show always was one I could not miss. To watch now without the commercials is even better!

One of my favorite Siskel and Ebert episodes. You should see how Gene get gritty about both *The Pope of Greenwich Village* and How Roger loves The Certified Classic 💯 *The Karate Kid* (1984) The best one!!!❤ Freakin Bill Zabka. I love em tho and Ralph of course.

Dolly definitely needed to have Mae West write her scripts. Perhaps she should have re-made some of Mae's early movies, like: I'm No Angel, it was popular when Mae made it way back in the early 30s but it does not carry her stamp the way 'She Done Him Wrong' does. So, Dolly should have made it and left the POPULAR Mae films alone. Looking deeply into Mae's screen plays we have another great one for Dolly in: 'Every Day's a Holiday'. Then, perhaps we would have seen Dolly at her best as an actress. Of course after that she could have played against type in a nice horror film like Jagged Edge. That film did not do all that well, and Dolly being in it would no doubt have helped on that score. IF it failed, she could look back into the Mae West penned films and do another one.

The Pope of Greenwich Village could have a remake that would be just as good as the original
@vibesbyluxury Жыл бұрын
highly doubt it. I hope they never remake this great film, it wouldn't have that same feel especially the chemistry that Eric and Mickey had.

Eh! Robert’s overacted a little. Rourke was really at his prime in the 80’s. It’s a shame that he turned into a Trumper .

I don't care about Mickey Rourke's political ideology. He was good in this movie.
