This one broke me, if heard thousands of songs over my life time seen goodness knows how many videos . Performances etc but sissel is the only one that captivated me, this performance is quite extraordinary simple, beautiful and heartbreaking ,when she looks up it's like it just her and me ,if that makes sense, sissel exquisite, beautiful, unparrelled

Gosh! Her singing, the eyes and facial expressions, her dishevelled hair even, makes us feel the torment of the lyrics of the song. I think she is absolutely amazing and i have seeing her in concert, some day, on my bucket list! I think no one does it more justice than she.

Once again, Sissel, you have taken an old classic from my early years and sung it as if I were hearing it for the very first time. No one, including Jimmy, has Ever performed it more beautifully. And this is also bittersweet for me because it always reminds me of the love of my life that, in my foolish youth, I let slip away forever, literally like grains of sand slipping through my fingers. Some mistakes, apparently, you keep paying for all of your life. But thank you, Sissel, for bringing back to us this so-beautiful song. Me ke aloha mai Hawai'i.... 💔💕

I am sincerely saddened by your loss, but, as Sissel says in song, "This old world keeps on turning." However, we all know, that nothing on earth can replace the memory of a lost love. It's a mystery, for sure.

Love these melancholy songs. Makes one recall the successful, and, for that matter, the failures in our relationships! Maybe next time, we could do better. Though extremely sad, somehow encouraging as well!! Very well done!!

Really Sissy, you live every song you play, you have in your DNA the necessary histrionics to give the songs strength and value, that is wonderful and few are those who own it.

Thank you Sissel. It’s been a full decade since the love of my life left after seven years and went back to her husband. I send her a birthday card every year and yesterday was that day. I still wrote of love and the wonderful memories. We actually would run into each other’s arms on meeting. She has been the most significant person in my life and I am grateful for the time I had. Happy Birthday Michele 😘

Doesn't Sissel look like a broken-hearted young girl here !! Don't you (I do) just want to take her in your arms, hold and comfort her, and say, "Dry those tears honey. I know that your heart is broken (again) and it hurts now, but there WILL be another time. Try to believe THAT will be the "Special One" that you have been searching for. These others have just been "trial runs", getting you ready for THAT grand moment" !!

Success is the opposite of sin. To 'sin' means to 'miss the mark'. To succeed means to hit the mark. What is the mark? Ultimately God or (the cosmic) Self. To succeed is to be and to know God/Self, which in other words means to find and to make home your own unique Cosmic Address in the Universe. Success is to begin and continue the journey till the end. "This time we almost . . ." is the story of everyone on the journey.

@@milohazeldine8615 Good mrng. Well, u can google it. It's set in the Scottish-English border, where the borderers used to send raiding parties back and forth across the border. These were the same people whom they called the Scotch-Irish who came down through the Cumberland Gap in early U,S. history & who were at that time one of the world's premier fighting groups. Some of the borderers had emigrated to N. Ireland, earlier on, to pacify Ulster, thus the Irish term.
