It's a very great movie it shows different aspects. One of the most disrespectful things is for somebody to come to your job site overstepping their boundary like in Layla Michelle. If a gentleman is having a simple conversation you can't make assumptions that somebody is going to jump in the sack if you got to go through domestic violence it's time to leave.

One thing those girls missed when dude said Mayas name instead of the proper salutations (Miss/Mrs. So and So) instead he calls her by a first name basis which suggests something personal for the most part. I thoughthe was married but I was close 😅 this movie good so far, loving the music being played and the intro of all the photos of the girls past and present added a relatable touch, like we have them on our social medias. Im watching it in my tub. 🍷 🌬🌿 👀

Maverick makes movies after movies at the movies with bad characterization of black men. If this is the norm than no wonder black women always bashing black men. The acting was good but Idk it was something about it. I give it a 5/10. First, I would have never guessed that Jordan left Maurice at the altar judging by his first reaction when he seen her when she got back in town. All the chest popping didn’t scream “you broke my heart.” Second I still have no idea what was the big mystery about Jordan leaving town and why she came back…. Then the mom that had s*x with her deadbeat ex husband who wasn’t even taking care of their son 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ The professional therapist that decided to have a booty call with her patient. At least that’s how it came off watching their interaction together the scene he was introduced. It didn’t scream relationship so I was surprised when they showed flashbacks of them out. The movie was two hours it was long enough to add more details. It’s like a Tyler Perry storyline.

I forgot to mention the friend in the DV relationship. She killed her husband. She never called the police on him to report abuse so it’ll be hard to claim self defense… Oh yeah the end when Jordan and Maurice messed around and she called him Camille. I’m like who tf was that lol it wasn’t mentioned throughout the entire movie 🤦🏽‍♀️ Two gone be messy hopefully they connect it all together well.
