Thank you guys for letting me know not to finish this story when I heard trust I became worried that this was going to end stupidly

I can see putting it in a trust, but not putting your family (especially your sister) in it. I can see this biting you in the end.

BS ENDING

This ending is horrible. All the crap the family put op through and in the end “we’re family” is her only reason for setting up a trust on the house. Where was family when op had her achievements or some help? Doormat behavior towards the end, needs more stories about horrible families facing consequences. Op should have let the parents take out a second mortgage so they would see what happens when you keep enabling bad behavior.

I agree, if the parents wanted to ruined themselves by taking out a second mortgage to bait out op sister she should've let them made their choice and held them accountable via their actions. The peacemaker cute ending where op does right by everyone is nonsensical and totally utter stupidity on her part. If the parents wanted to play hero and bailed out op sister at their expense and the viable outcome of putting themselves in deep debt op should've stood back and let them all sink if they followed throw with a very costly and stupid decision

A nurse bought a Hampton home?

Hard work, frugality, and savvy investments can add up to a lot and even more if you start with a well-paying profession. (Trauma nurses can make six figures annually, or close to it.)

I thought the story was good, but not realistic because it would be lovely if our families loved and forgive each other for past mistakes. That the rich family member and working families members worked together to lift each other. I’m not saying the rich family members should give money to their families, no far from it,just be a support system for each other. The reason everyone doesn’t like this story is because we live in a cynical society. The have and the have not, we’re working class don’t make a livable wage, we’re housing prices are so high people can’t afford to buy let alone pay rent. We live in a society were the rich has everything they want and the poor are living one paycheck away from poverty or even homeless. Like I said at the beginning the story is nice but not realistic 😢

That's stupid why would you set up a trust on the house being a asset if they will offer you three times what you paid to buy the house from you and gave you a free membership to the resort why wouldn't you sell the house and then use a portion of the money that they gave you for selling it to set up the trust do you make some good realtor decisions you are stupid and spiteful you did this to hurt your family and your sister because you could have sold the house and use a portion of that money to do all of that s*** that you just said you was going to do that's controlling and very narcissistic on the back end
