@@mynameisGail Sorry I only just saw these comments as I only recently just started watching the Sister Boniface Mysteries series. I believe Jerry Iwu is playing a Detective Sergeant on secondment from Bermuda, which is British with African ancestry, so I think it's called Bermudian English, which actually sounds a mixture of British & American as Bermuda is near America too & it's said to be a very unique dialect/accent. I love the series & it was great to see Belinda Lang again, as I remember watching her in "2point4 Children" years ago, she's so funny.

It's a shame there was such poor product placement eg using a Vespa model that wasn't made until 1977 but drama set in the 1960's. I would sack the researcher. Wouldn't think anything less of a BBC drama.
