She just stated she comes from a healthy two parent home, a college graduate, not into dysfunction, she stands up for herself, a business woman, doesn't want to be in a destructive environment for a paycheck, has morals. Girl, even the most well rounded kids can can be destructive, and a child from broken home can be become well rounded and successful. Its about the choices you make. Dutchess is no Angel. I don't care how ppl feel about Dutchess from Black Ink.. I love her. I feel her on a spiritual and emotional level. What's awesome is she is college educated and goal oriented. What's sad is at one point she lowered her standards for a man who didn't respect her level of beauty and brains. She's now at a place where she had to climb from a valley up the mountain and is conquering it. To me, Dutchess have always been GREATER than the dysfunction of Black Ink. Would she have the success that she have today if it wasn't for them? Maybe not. But there's nothing wrong with her using that platform VH1 gave her to be where she is today. Keep going Dutchess! But TRUTH about self...ones own role in who they were/are throughout every leg of that journey is Key. Dutchess sat on that sofa and spoke more than a few untruths about her role in all that transpired during and immediately following her tenure on Black Ink Crew. From her initiating physical altercations with other Black Women on the show, to sexing multiple men from the shop- to engaging on oral sex with a woman on the show then lying about it, and her obsessive incessant toxic tweets/IG for a full year after she departed the show. Now that she has chosen to live the life that her parents raised her to live- she wants to publicly belittle, and malign, those on the show whose behavior mirrored her own bad behavior? Nope- not cool at all! How many out of wedlock pregnancies did she have while with Ceaser -2? Had either or both been successful pregnancies- she like the Mothers/Fathers of her former cast members, would have been - A Single Mother too! Wishing her well. I do however pray that she stops speaking disparagingly about her former castmates. Cause there are far too many out here that know the truth of her on the Black Ink Set.

I have an completely different view than most of the people in the comments but I have seen how vicious she can be first hand on the show. Producers didnt make her lie to people...they didnt make her talk about peoples miscarriages...or downgrading other black people on the show because they didnt have the same resources as her to get an education or have an two parent home. She used the blessing God gave her as weapons to down other black people on the show. I don't think anyone should be calling her name or threatening her but she need to take ownership that she was no angel and her action were the problem. Producers gave her the gun but she was the one who shot it of her free will. I hope that she really change but someone as toxic as she was I don't believe she has but I pray for the best for her.

Here's my thing with Dutchess. I watched the show from season one and she was my FAVORITE!! She acts lightskinned, but that comes with the territory. She DID come on strong about Cease friends, but she ended up being right about them. I was done at "Donna took advantage of me" And then when she let Sky son do that interview in her shop I was officially done. Dutchess seems like a woman that always holds her head high and i admire that about her. I think she was young when she started the show, and she has grown. She's done a lot of wrong on the show at times but that doesn't define her, and who hasn't done wrong when they were young? She looks like she's moving past it. Thats beautiful. I'm so glad to hear Dutchess Lattimore's story! I have never watched the show, but I understand from another black reality show that the media will portray you as something that you are not.
