This song is a direct connection to the mellow 70’s, and it feels like a sunny day without a cloud in the sky.

It's been a few years since you walked away from the channel with your head held rightfully high, so there's a snowball's chance you'll ever read this, but bcs you're the person you are and gave all you had to give it, I don't mind saying the tears flowed uncontrollably down my face with sheer unbridled joy at hearing you do this. I was all of 10 when this came out and it was like being struck by a lightning bolt as I instantly understood the power of a chord progression married to a melody long before I'd ever know what either of those things technically was. Thank you just doesn't begin... Now, off to my jumbo 12-string!

I really appreciate your putting song lessons up for us. I never fail to learn something new from your lessons. Such as, throwing a sus4 E with your pinky, as opposed to leaving the major E, and covering the strings with three fingers. Thank you again, James. i'll contribute as soon as my children stop taking all my money from being unemployed, cuz Covid...ugh. Anyway, thank you again, Sir. You make it easy to learn songs, as you play with the song, as opposed to showing me every damn chord I already know.

I like the way Keith Urban does it on his Maton diesel mini. A little more difficult but a lot more interesting. The E chord inversion frees up a little jam. It might take awhile to get it all though.

Thank you. I could play this but couldnt find anyone worth playing along with. This is perfect

I think the guys in America play the outro on B and A on the 7th and fifth frets but open, not barring all the strings, just the E string, gives it a nice full rich tone.

I used to play this song live with my band, and was one of THE worst memories of ever being on stage. I had the misfortune of being tasked the lead slide part, and one show I completely forgot the lines,it was a mess. After i got off stage I never played this song again.Ah but only if i had this acoustic part I wouldn’t have such a damaging memory....it was the worst so embarrassing I’ll never forget it,ruined the song for me.

I didn't know which artist this was until it was in the Miss Stevens soundtrack. I always thought it was a George Harrison composition, performed by Badfinger or somebody.
