This is one of the few live action movie adapted from the anime. They actually did the character's design right but atleast they didn't make a Blackface version of Krone

Among all the choices, Naomi Watanabe was the one who best fit the character. There's no point in choosing an actor who looks like the character, but can't act or pass the character's vibe. And she does it beautifully in the film

I'm happy they choose a Japanese woman to depict her Instead of failing to find a black woman and it becoming a little derogatory in the depiction in live action better to stay safe than sorry
