Ashley your Sisterlocs are gorgeous. I’m 15 months Sisterloc’d and loving my journey with thin low density fine locs. I’m still braiding and banding only on wash days. I like the braid out Krinkles in my locs and the braid out waves last for 2 weeks. I also use the pillow curlers but I prefer the flexi rod curls because the loc curls are loose and elongated with length. Trust the process is priceless.

That sounds gorgeous your braid outs! I realized I’m not a braid out person but a pillow roller and recently have used some Flexi rods in between. I haven’t tried Flexi rods yet from hair being wet to dry. They really mean trust the process!!

Looking great Ash. Locs are thriving. I know what you mean about no longer braiding and banding, freeing. I can go weeks now without needing to wash my locs. I let it do its thing and my locs will let me know what it needs and when: "trust the process" indeed. I am very happy for you.🖤

I’m so glad you know what I mean! It’s so amazing not to have to worry and let it do it’s thing! I was tired of braiding and banding!!!

Your Hair looks good! I am almost 2 years in and I still 2 strand twist and band before I wash. I tried to wash it without twisting and it didn’t work for me lol but then again even as a loose natural, it was easier for me to wash my hair in sections. I also love the twistout after because when I am being lazy, I leave it in twists for 2 or so days

I think next time I’m going to braid it in 2 big sections it was a lot make sure it was separated especially when I’m in between reties. I like putting mine in rollers after washing and it lasts as well

@@DrAshMakeup yes ever since I discovered washing my hair in sections back when I was a loose natural, I never looked back. It makes things way easier in my opinion.

I love your hair. I'm on my journey and I'm 5 months in. I don't like the braiding and banding either I want freedom. My hair is 4k lol not 4c meaning it knotts up tight.
@DrAshMakeup2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, so much! Just hang in there! I hope you don’t have to braid and band for too much longer.

So beautiful & your sisterlocks are progressing wonderfully!! I’m considering trying Nutrafol but I’m wondering if once you stop taking them will you lose hair.
@DrAshMakeup2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I have thought about that but, right now I don’t have any plans on stopping. The amount of hair I’m gaining is amazing! It’s been about 6 months now.
