Thank you! Thank you ! Sister Nyoko I needed to hear this message! It has been a long journey for me as a revert. I can not find my footing in the community I live in as it is very segregated ( different regions have their own masjid) I’m at least learning one Surah at a time. My children have been very supportive but sadly my siblings have not and in some way neither have my parents. The questions I get are very strange to me because I see myself I don’t see the hijab. I try to not let it get to me but it does. I miss the belonging. The important thing is I feel much closer to Allah.
