How to tell people your sister is the golden child without saying she's the golden child, your wedding was saved solely because your friend had a feeling something would go wrong with your dress (wouldn't surprise me if she really thought your sister would do something to the dress but is too polite to say). It's not your fault at all that her ex's family believed in a deity that would cause a wedding to not be right if the person was destined to bring misfortune (there's loads of people who believe in these kinds of beings or in superstitious, I've even known someone who went back home a few mins after she left the house in the morning and stayed there till the same time the next day cos a black cat crossed her path, my Mum was also very superstitious as am I to a extent). It's not your fault what happened, sadly it was just meant to be this way if not then he would have married her. What your sister did was psychotic and I agree you should go NC with her and your parents, if you do t then you will need to accept that what ever goes wrong in your sister's life you will be blamed

That wasnt a prank. That was probably grand theft depending on the cost of your dress. Family will probably cut you off. But they are toxic and stupid. It isnt your fault. You just brought to light the true story behind riley's relationship. Family sucks so screw them. Ron's family has their own issues. If not the ring. It would be the shade of flowers

When you've dealt with so much, which it seems OP has. Sometimes Tit for Tat is not stupid or immature. It shows the ones that side with the Prankster and the Prankster just how this feels.
