Drew Fortune ya I saw all yr reaction on him n I thot u dislike his styles at 1st. M surprised u continue to react n now invited yr sis. So my thinking is wrong lol. This performer is unique. He known as a rocker n composed lots of rock songs, yet he also doing rap, opera n classical etc. No wonder people said he from 48 styles now upgraded to 148 styles. Never fail to give us surprises n always willing to experiment new stuff be it music or something else.

You asked a good question. I can tell you something he said in two of his interviews that may give a clue to your answer. In one interview, he said human voice is just another instrument like guitar, bass, flute...etc and there are instances where voice sounds the best among all the instruments (hence the instrumental part with his voice in this song). He also said music shouldn't be made for others (or to sell). If it is, the music isn't pure. If one day, nobody listens to his music, he will find something else to do but he won't change his music to suit people's taste. In another interview, he said something like "audience don't need to try to understand what I am trying to express. They just need to listen and think for themselves. If there are 500 audience, there would be 500 different perspective/pictures in their mind. Isn't that more lovely?". It seems to me he's not trying to show anything about himself and there's no showcasing in him. He's doing music just for music sake.

Like you said, if you try to gigure out who he is on stage, both as an artist, and a Singer, you wont see till you've seen a lit more of his performances. Then you will see that his style is almost any style, and his stage persona is a mirror of the song. Luke this almost shy in the beging to angaging the audience in the end. Its a really empowering song about at first trying to be likf everybody else and not feeling it fits, to at the end feeling that beeing just You without pretending, is the best for you. If your looking for his strong point, you mentioned one already, his ability to convey emotions, he makes you feel the songs meaning without understanding the lyrics. He makes us feel the emotion, bouth by his singing, his voice and by hus performance. Hhis ability to change his voice to the song, to blend with the instrument when, his high notes, his soft voice, his rock voice, his angelic voice, his sad voice anfmd his energetic voice. He is a an amazing composer, eitger it is his own songs or covers, he changes those and makes them his own by rearanging but keeping the core of the song. If thete is one style he like better than others, it is rock, but he don't want to be placed in any genre, since he feels that will only limit his creativity. He composes all sorts of songs, balads, rocksongs, rapsong, rapprock, songs without lyrics, lullabys, children's songs. Just what he feels like at that spesific moment. If I would recommend a song for you to react to, it would be Nanping evening bells. It is a duet he had to rearange in 24h and perform. It is from an old, simple chinese folksong. He made the song totaly new and amazing. Theire voices blending so well. Or drinking alone, also made in 24h, it is a rockrap with akso angelic high notes.

Ordinary Path is my favorite HuaHua song. I like listening to people analyze the lyrics after watching the songs a few times without lyrics. Now I know how deep his songs are, and it does make other singers sound a bit childish with what they are usually singing. He creates performances which are significant to what is happening in the world psyche. I have found 2 reactors who really analyze his songs - one Chinese (love his and he does them without video) and one perhaps American (he does this song and Bullfighting very well). Thanks for an interesting reaction. And yes, he is very good looking. The performances of 2013 are quite fascinating to watch to see how he has evolved.
