People get matured, developed and use new intellectual approaches to attain their goal. She was young, strong and raptivist. Now she is one of the best African American author in America, she almost visited most African countries, and work with most American and African leaders all in empowering the black race. Her work has more impact now than when she use to have that high spirit with that strong voice of hers

@434Noise We blew up Japan & WE helped them rebuild. Then we left them alone and kept our military there. The difference between Katrina & Japan's quake is that at least with Japan, help arrived fairly quick and leadership actually led its people. With Katrina you had people who were basically trapped (convicted by local & state leaders that the Superdome would be safe). I knew SEVERAL people who wanted to go help post Katrina (firefighters, EMTs, etc) & were told they weren't needed.
