The typical vietnamese family in DA NANG, the city 3rd largest city of Vietnam, back then tends to have a well at each of the house. Vietnamese, more specifically Đà Nẵng is one of the top rising city in the past 9 years so there aren't many houses with well left, but Đà Nẵng located on the Coast line on the East and Moutain on the west so underground water are every where so we have many wells. idk when they left vn but i'm pretty sure they came here more then 15 years ago :)

@someone12310 obviously because they probably moved to the US from Vietnam, and since she was the oldest it was harder for her to learn a new language (it's easier to learn a language from the beginning, instead of when viet was already her main one)
