She has encouraged hundreds of thousands of people to think. What a force of immense good she was. The best of us.

A beautiful analysis. Sister Wendy gives life and perspective to a work of art we would otherwise overlook because it's broken and ancient. I have the feeling someone broke it on purpose those thousands of years ago after the pharoah and his queen fell out of favor.

This is good because most people wouldn't give this a second look...but she's showing us the beauty in it.

My favourite video! ;) I think it was a portrait. Look at the lines around the mouth. Even mutilated, that face has character. ETA: rest in peace, Sister Wendy. You gave the world the gift of your many insights, and brought beauty into the world. Thank you.

The best thing about sister Wendy was that she brought great art to people, who's idea of great art was Thomas Kinkade.

Hatshepsut and Neferneferuaten were regnant queens in that dynasty.
