When I watched that episode, I couldn't make sense of Robyn's speech about divorce and why Christine can't just say she's divorced. Now, I'm wondering if she panicked and started thinking of ways they could stop it or at least stall the inevitable from happening. Was she thinking about having to answer for the money they spent? Stalling any of the wives from leaving would prevent them from needing to really look at the family finances for the purpose of taking what's rightfully owed to them. I guess that Kody's neglect of the OG3 over all the years was worth it after all. Now, he gets to put in effort to deal with different Court actions, instead of taking his responsibilities with his wives seriously back a number of years ago. Had he not neglected them, their plural family would still be intact.

Depending on the law, many of the kids in college can sue Kody for child support from their father. In Jersey child support does not end at 18, many times the child is entitled to support through college.

I won't pretend that I know much about their religion. However, if Meri feels that getting a release from her church will help her legally or spiritually accept the closure of her marriage to Kody, then I applaud her for doing that. I've never really had much of a "warm fuzzy feeling" towards Meri, but my opinion of her has been changing over the past few seasons.. She hasn't been very supportive to the other sister wives, but maybe she is just projecting to everyone what she believed Kody expected her to do. Kody has been disrespectful, hurtful and cruel to Meri for years and I am happy to see her close the door on this horribly unhappy chapter of her life. I say good on her and if Kody loses his chance to become a God, EVEN BETTER!!!
