I’ve said it before but I LOVE this channel! Best insider info ever. A lot of the religious background is very similar to the Christian church I was a member of. It’s such a relief to know that I’m not the only one looking at this and seeing it a bit differently than someone who isn’t familiar with the culture. I almost never talk about my time in the church. It embarrasses me that I was so brainwashed. To hear you talk openly about it makes me feel less ashamed.

I noticed how in an early season Kody was calling his highschool buddy. Christine was upset saying... wait for it... his friends not safe and she doesn't want the family involved with the guy. Kody asks why. C says it's because the guy says Kody needs to get rid of 3 wives. Kody didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with that. Kody has no sense of what is or is not healthy with regard to a plural relationship so no wonder he has trouble with a monogamous relationship. I think he's just stupid and unhealthy in relationships. Maybe get a pet instead of a family. Just don't let some psycho kick it... and make sure you feed and walk it. Instead maybe like the movie 21 Days he should just get a plant first.

Kody & Robyn embezzled so much money from the OG3 which became glaringly obvious when we all the saw the garish tacky art, paintings, statues, figurines and geodes. It was literally a hoarde of expensive stuff in their mansion. Some people calculated they spent around $200K on it and some of it didn't even have a price! It is obscene and disgusting! While Janelle didn't have a house and Meri was renting they were living it up at their expense. Christine was the only one to get the equity of her house thanks to Robyn making Kody take his name off her house so they could afford her mega mansion! And he was so pissed about that! But now they have an even bigger 2.1 million mansion. It wouldn't surprise me if they used Coyote Pass to secure that mansion. And you no damn well they haven't paid back Meri or Janelle for the equity they paid into their first mansion let alone paying them off for Coyote Pass! Kody obviously has no plans to do so! Unless he is legally forced to he will continue to steal and rip them off! I don't think even PR pressure will make him do the right thing! Kody & Robyn are plain evil and greedy in my mind! I want them cancelled from the show! So tired of watched them grift and live off the OG3! Enough already! Cancel them both! Kody acted like a pimp in my opinion making his wives work and stealing their money. He didn't pay for his kids health insurance. Didn't pay a dime for Ysabel's surgery, nor did he bother to go with her, but then went to a wedding instead! I hope Kody & Robyn read my comment! Do better! Be better! Pay back the OG3! I have seen so many family friends make the mistake of remarrying only to realize that they could’ve gotten more Social Security if they had just stayed single on paper.

I was really fired up about some of this show. Again Christine says they had to leave Utah in a panic. She keeps holding to this story and she knows that Utah wasn't going to jail a person for having wives. But, she also knows that most people outside of Ut mormondom doesn't know this little fact. But they claim ot's because there is more than one wife. They could be charged or potentially jailed for other financial or abuse crimes. But Christine, or any of them, are just ssying it's because they have plural wives. Forget about what the nany does/did. What did these guys do that would cause them to flee in panic. Flat tires as a sign? Oh maybe a sign that they're lying to the public... manipulating for a "poor me" story for a show. They are all manipulating liars. ...True mormons lying for a storyline. You can take the mormons out of the church, but you can't take the church out of the mormons.

I lived in Utah a bit and didn't like it but I totally got from some Mormon friends that they take their religion seriously. The bottom line here is people watch the show, even you are still interested in what's happening. If there wasn't a storyline to pull people in, we all wouldn't be commenting here.

Oh my goodness that’s terrible. I don’t care much for Robyn at all, but that’s a lot of trauma having so many people close to you pass in that manner. I can’t help but wonder if perhaps the show affected her stepfather as well? Maybe in an indirect way? Seeing his daughter constantly scrutinized? I don’t know… I’m just speculating.

@ many polygamist use LDS church buildings because they are usually free. Polygamists don’t tend to have a lot of $$ for funeral expenses (not saying by that is the case here) so they will go through a close family members ward. Then usually the LDS church’s Relief Society will do a family dinner for everyone.
