It's crazy how after so many years remember this whole album word for word.

The song is 24 years old now. And Sister Hezel to me is like a modern Lynyrd Skynyrd, the one with Ronnie Vanzant .

It's your world And I was just someone in it I never wanted to be your problem And it's your life And I just wanted to see you live it Be the one to help you solve 'em I wanted I wanted it to be I wanted I wanted it to be yeah yeah Never claimed to be no savior I never claimed to be no saint I'm just another tool who tried to love you Saw the ones before me Then I saw the one who took my place Took a lot of time just to get on by you. It's your world And I was just someone in it I never wanted to be your problem.

This album and Third Eye Blind’s debut are similar to me in that they were both released in 1997, I grew up listening to these with my mom, and the entire album is awesome. Not one bad song. I never skip any songs on the album.

Man some awesome guitar playing in this song! And the riff blows me away! I'm sure my ex husband who is extremely talented can play it and so I've asked him to learn it so he can play it for me!!! ..

Sounds awfully like Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam who openly acknowledges Jimi Hendrix as an influence to their song. Thanks Jimi!!!!!

When I first heard this in the 90's I thought the same thing. As a guitarist it has the same feel but entirely differently played. Regardless it's a great song.
