I have very coily/curly hair and I am usually pretty frustrated after wash day but now that I see that it’s not just me I feel much better. Your hair is gorgeous!!!!

Thank you! Yeah wash day is always an interesting time 🤣. I have to wash my hair this weekend to prep for a reti 😩🤣.

I just gather the frizz around each Sisterlock and french braid it down into the length of the loc, then I retighten at the root and this has GREATLY reduced my frizz and strengthened my locs at the roots.💙

That's awesome! Thank you for the tip ♥️

Im glad to see someone who has the same issues as me...frizz and some bunching but still a nice head of locs 🥰 As a loose natural I loved the frizz bc it made my hair look fuller...I could rock the “big hair” with no problem...Im just gonna use that fact with these locs lol

Right 🤣! 🙌🏽

Loved this video. My hair bunches a LOT! Snd everytime I take days to groom the areas out, within weeks, they are back. 😣 My hair is curly and I started with 2strand twists so I'm sure that's why it gets so bad. Probably just let it do what it wants since it should help with a fuller appearance. Definitely slows down my hang time, lol. Seeing your hair was great, very beautiful!

Thank you! Yeah I just had to let it go 🤣. I have it all. Some bunching, some buds and frizz. It's has its own style though and is compressing so keeping the frizz is probably working for me. I am happy you are enjoying your journey!!!!

Your hair still looks great! How are your locs holding up now?
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
They are doing just fine. I find that after a couple days the follicles calm down a bit 🤣.

Great video, as usual. I’m 13 months in now. How do you know if your hair has dropped? Thank you!
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! When your hair has dropped it is less stretchy. It has more "weight" to it, though it's not heavy. It's just less whispy and light. When you can pull your lock and stretch it inches, it hasn't dropped yet.

I love your locs! I'm glad I'm not alone with my the frizz and follicles. Also, I started my microlocs (500) on waistlength hair so my budding, bunching and frizz is so extreme. From far away it looks fine but if someone were to look at my locs individually I would be embarrassed lol almost looks like an animal has been chewing on the loc...I really hope it corrects itself with time

I think over time it will. Plus with the occasional trim the "worst" part is the first to go. That's what I keep telling myself whenever I start feeling really annoyed with my hair imperfections.

How often u wash your hair
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
Every two weeks normally, but if I am exercising more it may be closer to 7-10 days.

I'm happy to see this video. I have more frizz than you especially in the front. It bothers me but I know I have to deal with it for a while.

Are your hair fully Loc
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
I would say I am in the mature loc stage stage yes. It's never really fully locked because the part closest to the scalp is the "newest" part of the hair that hasn't had as much time to lock.

Notice in the middle of your head it looks thin like mine does I wonder why our hair is thin in the middle part of our head
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I know. That's always been the least dense part for me too.

What is Follicle
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
It's the part where a strand of hair connects to your scalp...so basically it's a small bit of skin.
@trinacox97494 жыл бұрын
Thats dandruff....if that was your hair follicles coming out like that you would be bald.
@mishaytv4 жыл бұрын
Hi Trina 👋. Believe it or not I had my consultant check for me, to make sure I'm not tripping. She confirmed it is follicles in my case. I thought it was dandruff too, but it was never at the scalp. I even did the test where you shake your hair out and watch the flakes fall on a few different occasions. Nothing 🤣.
