I've seen sister locks on ppl and they don't always look right. I love tha way ur sister locks look, they r really getting long. Ur becoming really good at these videos. Very interesting and fun, happy nappiverary! I chopped all my hair off Oct 07 and I started my loc journey Dec 09. Keep it up girl!!!

@ibyl Okay. Yes, I've used the lock loops. I just have to find the time to leave them in. My hair is now to the top of my jeans in the back. So it takes a really really long time to dry. I would have to lock myself in the house. LOL! Congrats again.

@nowhatbeauty Yeah I style em;. KZbin is my inspiration- I see a style and I recreate it. Now that the locks are getting longet I am trying to style more.

@creativethinking08 Yes I still have loose curl ends, esp. at the top. My hair in that section is so wavy and looks nothing like the rest of my head. My loctician said that I wouldn't have to cut them that they would eventually close. I have heard someone say (not loctician just has locks) that the ends would be cut at a certain point. So it may depend on the circumstance. Esp. if someone started w/ permed hair would have to get that cut.

Congrats! You hair is beautiful. Do you curl them often? Do you use setting lotion? If so, what type? My curls only last a few hours. Urgh! LOL!

@frankydiezel Thanks! I would have cause Musiq is on point, but I was trying to escape royalty issues- not sure if snippets versus whole songs make a difference though.

@freedomplease Thank you! I don't use any product. I dampen my hair and then I put a few per lock loop. I recently got the lock loops, so it has been a total of three times. Have you tried lock loops? I've used pipe cleaner before and those held but those tools aren't that safe, but the lock loop makes the curl tight and the longer you keep them in the tighter your curls will be.

@shordee15 Thanks! I like your screen name. Is it pronounced like "shorty"? I have been using the sisterlock shampoo for two years. My loctician advised I continue because my hair isn't completely locked yet. How long have you had your locks?
