Hey. I’ll be locked 7 years next month. I use suave clarifying shampoo and Dr. Bronner’s. I oil my scalp with grape seed oil and castor oil . I believe I started oiling my scalp within the first year. My hair goal is to get to tail bone length for now. Maybe longer we’ll see.

I’ll be seven years Sister locked in January. Still the best hair decision ever. I have a cousin who just finished day one of her establishment today . Wow 16 years that’s beautiful. 😀

I noticed you braided your locs. Honey I did that one good time flying to Jamaica to see my now hubby. The humidity knocked my crinkles out in 2 days. Enjoy your trip 😀

I always figured I have plenty of doppelgängers out there. I’m going to have to ask mom if people have told her she looks familiar too.

@@ibylI'm so serious, my mom has your mom's skin tone. Like 15 years ago gentleman from Puerto Rico walked up to her and said seeing her, made him smile, because he was in the south for work, but he was really missing his mom & Grandma,but in his language. I was tripped out about that.

Definitely glad you did this video. Locs will teach you patience and reality, when dealing with length, size and health, more self love, when understanding that your locs are unique to you and only you, and being proactive when thinking that you can just mistreat your locs with several colors and no conditioner treatments, no retwist/ other maintenance..
