I think this style will be beautiful with some gold adornments in the front. I also think it will look best without the fresh retightening. The thick roots match the volume of the style. And yes I too was clocking that maturity. Your locs paying taxing and about buy a house!

This was a super cute concept! Don’t be so hard on yourself. You said you weren’t really sure what to do with the front. . . I think those scrunched/fluffed flat twists would have been the perfect compliment to this style for the front section of your hair and it definitely would have cut down on the amount of petals. Nicely done as always :)

I like the idea of loc petals, but they are difficult to perfect on thick hair with microlocks. I made an attempt for Valentine's Day photos. I didn't have to do the middle back because it wasn't going to be visible. I put on a hair tie to hid that section. It was still a lot of work. I think we have to do smaller sections. Two weeks post re-ti is probably best. The other issue is covering/hiding the rubberbands in the front. I'm going to give it another try. Thanks for sharing.
