Sisterlocks! Pain during installation, length of installation, lawd my back!

What did I experience on installation day? Was it painful? How do I feel about this transition from loose hair to locks?

I have never seen a 4c haired wig, but your locks turned out nicely, and will,grow out beautifully. Don’t allow the retie to be really tight, especially in the crown area as it can cause thinning in that area. And I must say, you have a beautiful set of eyes. Very striking. Enjoy your journey.

I am 18+ months locd. I braid and band but never that small quantity. Only if doing a braid out. Not to just braid and band. More power to you it’s gonna take you forever to do and forever taking them down. So yes, make a hairstyle out if them. Your locs are beautiful.

It took me 1.5 hours yesterday to braid and band. Washing them tonight. Definitely not for the weak 😩
