Im so happy I found your KZbin...been following you on Instagram for a few months...so excited for my install in October. I have really fine hair and was told numerous times I couldn't get sister locs....finally found someone and your journey helped me see it's possible!😍

I think as long as your hair is healthy you can do it. Fine hair can also be VERY healthy. I have been on both sides of the spectrum....Super damaged and unhealthy to flourishing. I definitely questioned if my hair would react well to SL and I'm so happy to say it is healthy and flourishing like never before! Good luck on starting your journey love.

Definitely! I’m starting with 10 inches of hair! So I’m hoping the shrinkage won’t be awful lol

Great q&a!!! I feel you on the consultant concern lol. I with they had more quality control with the brand but there are great ones out there that you might have to payyy to help with peace of mind! I hope to have a smooth install in September with a teaching brand ambassador consultant that is charging NY prices even with me cutting it down to 6 inches 😅. I hope it locks faster at that length.

I am praying for a smooth install for you! That is another plus starting off short...it's going to loc MUCH faster. I will be getting grey hair by the time these ends decide to loc lol!

In a previous video you mentioned sisterlocks are great for workout. What do you do to combat sweat and slippage?

I fortunately don’t have any issues with slippage. I only has slippage with the 2 tiny ones on each aide of my ear. When I work out, I just wear in a bun and that seems to work for me.
